Family Bible of Dell/Doll/Dow Family

Family register pages and entries for the family of Frederick Dell born 1835 in Dormstadt Germany & Mary Hull born 1840 in New York City. They were married in 1863.

The genealogy follows the birth of their children starting in 1865. They apparently settled in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Other family surnames include Robinson and Doll. The last entry is dated 1949.

Brian's Research:

1870 census index shows name as DOW FREDERICK 35 M W GERM MA BRISTOL ATTLEBORO 1870 but it is DOLL on the census:
Doll, Frederick, 35, engraver, b Germ, naturalized
Mary wife , 29, b NY
Louis F, son, 6 b Mass
Ellenor A, dau 5 b Mass

1900 census shows DOLL MARY E 60 F W NY MA BRISTOL NORTH ATTLEBORO 1900
Mary E. De/oll, lodger b Sept 1840 NY, age 59, widowed, 2 children, 2 alive, father b VA, mother b NY, spring ringr? (12 years married is crossed out, perhaps a clue to Frederick's death? If married 1863 he may have died in 1874)

DOLL LOUIS F 37 M W MA MA NORFOLK WRENTHAM 1900
Louis F b Sept 1863 m 15 years, 2 children, 2 alive, b Mass, fath b Germ, mother b Ny, die maker
Anne F? Wife, b May 1864 b Mass
Louis F Jr son b Nov 1886 b Mass
Elise dau b July 1888 b Mass
